Message from Alex

Hi all

Thank you for completing the second lot of scoring exercises for Figures 4 5 6 & 7. Please refer to the Shared Documents folder to view the overall grid. You will note that the first series in your scoring exercises the overall scores obtained were far superior than the more recent second series of exercises. I have also given you the Mean scores and more importantly the Standard Deviation scores on each item and each HFD. Don't know happen the second time round. I would like to suggest that a group scoring may provide a better overall reliability given the opportunity to discuss and share points where perception may differ and given the opportunity to clarify with each other. This may be something the ALS may wish to consider in Phase 3 of the Action Learning initiative when the raw data has been collected. In the meantime I have also posted up the reference scoring for figures 4, 5, 6, & 7 which you may wish to have look and compare where you differ greatly and see whether you can improve on your scoring.

In the meantime I would like to invite you to work on 3 more HFD Figures 8, 9 and 10 where you score as a group which means you discuss, clarify and decide as a group before finally awarding the final scores for each of the 14 items. Given that you are going to be busy as you start collecting the drawings in Phase 2, this exercise dateline will be extended until I am back in Penang on the 15th October. I would then like to introduce you to using Koppitz Emotional Indicators for HFD before the ALS embark on Phase 3.

Thanks again and hope your Phase 2 is progressing well.

Best wishes
Alex
