Scriblink Journey 23.8.10

i am a little bit late, when i joint in the Scriblink on 23 August 2010

when i go into scriblink, i saw few circle and
i am seeing a lot of movement around

i am not able to see my space there at that moment, thus
i did not make any big picture
just outline and add on the colours of what had make
or what had done.

at first, i am really not sure where to take plac
what to do, then i see circle like human face

i start to draw on the top of the circle
i start with hair
I began with yellow colour and try to make some fashion hair
i am thiking of yellowish colours,  and curly hair
done. i hv no satisfaction, i add on with red colours
i want to make the hair pretty and outstanding.
i used red colours to make another round curly hair
then, i start to paint two ribbon on each side of the curly hair
the ribbon made of by blue green colours

i make some changes, but the face was delete by someone else
and it's end up like this.
i still prefer the previous smilling happy face, which i likes
but' it's okay
as life might nit happend with what i wished for...

in the process of drawing, someone had make "delete" or UNDO
so, a lot of things had draw, was UNDO.

haiz...nvm lah

after that,
i used black colour to bold the flower, the butterflies, the tree
and also make 3 pots of the flower with outline the black colours
as u see in the picture, the black line of the flowers
the pot, it's my WORK. i make that...
hahaha

i also make colours into green grass, and the mountain
the sun...
the picture

i had left once...but seeing people continue their work, then i leave from the scriblink

hmm....
sometime, in drawing, i am not sure i had intrunded to other's drawing space or not
which part allowing meto share and play with
so, i just draw the outline of the ready make item, like flower, face, add on hair, bold the tree and etc
when i see my effort being deleted, actually i feel a bit loss...
i hope they will like it, but the face is gone....
haiz... but new face come out.
with new blue and green ribbon on her hair...

well, this is life,
things that had plan, or do
can change.
it might be the face come back, but not the one u wish
still a face.

Task 1 – Understanding artists and their art. Letting the ‘artist’ in you developed an appreciation and developing perceptual sensitivity of visual imageries.

Vincent van Gogh. (Dutch, 1853-1890).
The Starry Night Saint Remy, June 1889

Van Gogh painted Starry Night while in an Asylum at Saint-Remy in 1889. During Van Gogh's younger years (1876-1880) he wanted to dedicate his life to evangelization of those in poverty. Many believe that this religious endeavor may be reflected in the eleven stars of the painting.
Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue and grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills,
Sketch the trees and the daffodils,
Catch the breeze and the winter chills,
In colors on the snowy linen land.

Now I understand what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.

Starry, starry night.
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze,
Swirling clouds in violet haze,
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue.
Colors changing hue, morning fields of amber grain,
Weathered faces lined in pain,
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand.

Now I understand what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.

For they could not love you,
But still your love was true.
And when no hope was left in sight
On that starry, starry night,
You took your life, as lovers often do.
But I could have told you, Vincent,
This world was never meant for one
As beautiful as you.

Starry, starry night.
Portraits hung in empty halls,
Frameless head on nameless walls,
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget.
Like the strangers that you've met,
The ragged men in the ragged clothes,
The silver thorn of bloody rose,
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow.

Now I think I know what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they're not listening still.
Perhaps they never will...

 THE STARY NIGHT
Starry Night is one of the most well known images in modern culture as well as being one of the most replicated and sought after prints. From Don McLean's song 'Starry, Starry Night' (Based on the Painting), to the endless number of merchandise products sporting this image, it is nearly impossible to shy away from this amazing painting.
when i was in childhood, i heard about the story of Vincent, and he die due to attempt suicide. The movie of Hong Kong Series " The Ressonance of Mooncake" “溏心风暴” had make this song more popular "stary night".  it teaches me TO LOVE IN TIME

There are actually several main aspects that intrigue attract me so differently.
THE NIGHT SKY
There is the night sky filled with swirling clouds, stars ablaze with their own luminescence, and a bright crescent moon. Although the features are exaggerated, this is a scene we can all relate to, and also one that most individuals feel comfortable and at ease with. This sky keeps the viewer's eyes moving about the painting, following the curves and creating a visual dot to dot with the stars. This movement keeps the onlooker involved in the painting while the other factors take hold.
The colours used was so perfetly match, night sky with shinning little star and moon. it shows human/mankind that though the night sky fallen, but yet the shinny star and moon will guide your way.  lonely hear and loneliness will be accompany by the lights, where the love will get you home

THE SMALL TOWN
Below the rolling hills of the horizon lies a small town. There is a peaceful essence flowing from the structures. Perhaps the cool dark colors and the fiery windows spark memories of our own warm childhood years filled with imagination of what exists in the night and dark starry skies. The center point of the town is the tall steeple of the church, reigning largely over the smaller buildings. This steeple casts down a sense of stability onto the town, and also creates a sense of size and seclusion.

THE LEFT MASSIVE DARK
To the left of the painting there is a massive dark structure that develops an even greater sense of size and isolation. This structure is magnificent when compared to the scale of other objects in the painting. The curving lines mirror that of the sky and create the sensation of depth in the painting. This structure also allows the viewer to interpret what it is. From a mountain to a leafy bush, the analysis of this formation is wide and full of variety.
Left always related with unconscious and  creativity. The painting shows the loneliness, then remember the people in the town, the whole picture show the serenity of the painter. but no one could ever understand how he felt.

i am feeling sad, when i do this.
looking at the starry night, i find each of us were so unique. no one ever unique like you and me.
appreciate life

i decided to persue my team to put in the creative arts element
especially the creation part.

1st activity:
Self-introduction -

 MY Name Tag

 This is the venue
All the activity goes along

potential is hiden
when creation from useless material
became colourful black pearl
contain the energy of hope
reaching to the sea

When they change the "rubbish" into something, when they put something into the rubbish; when they encounter themself
they can, somehow become black pearl
shinning, awakening the inner potential

the uselss paper
the uselss stuff
change into football team
and it is so attractive
with creation and also team spirit

3rd day: when all of them try to fill in the white cloth with colours
they are encounter the self purification
hopefully, with this white cloth the colout they name to
they will able to search for better colourful and meaningful tomorrow
to live with hope, to start the new day with change

with the new outcome
with all the hand by hand together
with all the colours they fill
with all the compassion
together they did it.

in and out, i am trying to look at the small detail
to seek for the little tiny energy spot they did

Theme:  silent all the years

Withered branches sleep on the sand
watching sunset tranquility
standing where suppose to stand
hearing to the voices
from the sea, from the wind, from surrounding
it's been there, silent all these years
